About Me

Where do I begin? I am a mom of two perfect son's, the sweetest daughter-in-law ever and wife to a wonderful husband who "tries" to keep me grounded. I LOVE to decorate and had to find a way to do it on a very tight budget. I discovered "painting" was my answer. I was inspired by a friend of mine who has a precious little shop of painted "everything". OMG she is SO gifted!
She had a painted end table that I wanted terribly...didn't really need it, just fell in love with it. So I decided to try painting an old table I had at home. Long story short, it turned out beautiful, much to my surprise, and this is when my "Not Too Shabby Design" was born. The only problem is I want to keep everything I paint. I just need a home of many rooms... haha. I've been searching for a creative way to have fun and share my creations with others and "Not Too Shabby Designs" is the answer. My friend "Susan" was and still is my inspiration. Thank you Susan.
